What distributors does Circuit Sherpa search?
Circuit Sherpa queries DigiKey and Mouser directly in a single search, plus offers from the Nexar network (Arrow, Avnet, TTI and others) when available.
How fresh is the data?
Offers come from the distributor APIs — price, stock, and packaging as the distributor reported it. Prices are refreshed once they are more than 6 hours old, and every price shows when it was observed, so a price waiting on its refresh is labelled with its real age. Every fresh observation feeds the per-part price history.
Can I price an entire BOM at once?
Yes. Pro and Team plan users can paste their bill of materials as CSV and get every line priced at the price-break tier for its quantity, with the stock count and an MOQ warning on each line. BOM history is saved so you can track cost changes over time.
What happens to my BOM data?
It stays yours. BOM history is kept for 90 days on paid plans so you can re-price a build, and you can export or delete it whenever you want. We don't sell data and we don't process purchases — buy links go directly to the distributor.
How do price alerts work?
Set a target price for any component. Circuit Sherpa checks distributor pricing daily and notifies you when the component hits your target price.
What does Circuit Sherpa cost?
There's a free tier with 10 searches per day. Pro is available for unlimited searches, BOM costing, and price alerts. Team plan adds 5 seats and REST API access.
